Artist's Description

Urban art done in cool tones with oil and cold wax, and mixed media papers. I really love seeing things that most would pass by and not give a second thought to. Old weathered walls, industrial areas that may not suit the eye, just a normal day passing by. Growing up in California and now residing in Minnesota for the past 27 years I still can remember walking the city streets. That is what drew me to create this.

Cold wax is built up in many layers. Scratching and scraping while continuing to add more layers. Not a quick art but takes time. Just like the peeling paint, weather and time will do to our environment.

I am also a published illustrator for the book "Two Boys and the Rustlers" by Carol Elek ...
