Description
Blueprint No. 825 was used for the Map of the Battlefield of Gettysburg from the original survey made August to October 1863. The surveys for which were made by order General Meade in August thru October 1863, was when the field was in the condition caused by the then recent battle. The work was originally done by a party of topographical engineers from headquarters, Army of the Potomac, and under the supervision of Colonel Cope.
